In summary

Nestled in the heart of the private Muda Reserve, Casa Olival is a contemporary villa of approximately 600 m², surrounded by pine forest and the natural landscapes typical of the Comporta region. It sleeps up to ten guests (8 adults and 2 children). The house combines natural materials, earthy tones and large glazed openings that extend the living areas towards the terraces and the pool terrace. Outside, saltwater swimming pool (that can be heated) runs alongside a wide timber deck, set among Mediterranean gardens. The villa lies close to Comporta and Carvalhal, a few kilometres from restaurants and ten kilometres from the beach.

Room. This bedroom has 1 sofa bed 180 cm. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, private terrace, mosquito net, hair dryer.

Note: the sleeping arrangement in the fifth bedroom is a sofa bed. This bedroom does not have a private bathroom.


Indoors 

The villa’s architecture is understated and contemporary. Wood, warm hues and large floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces let natural light reach every room and soften the boundary between inside and outside.
The main room brings together the living and dining areas in a single open space. Wide sliding doors open directly onto the terraces and the pool deck, and a fireplace stands in the room. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped.


Outdoors 

The property extends over a large, enclosed, wooded plot that ensures great tranquillity. The views take in the garden and the pool.
The pool* borders a wide timber deck framed by Mediterranean gardens and mature pine trees. Several lounge areas are spread around the pool and in the garden. A terrace and a barbecue allow for meals to be taken outdoors.
Outdoor parking is available on the property (for 3 cars).

* the pool can be heated on request and at extra cost.


Location

The property is located in Carvalhal, on the Alentejo coast, within the Muda Reserve. A wooded setting and easy access to the neighbouring villages come together here: the nearest restaurants and cafés are about two kilometres away, while the town centre and shops are eight kilometres away.
